Further Defining the Space

The path is composed of Deleware River Jack - a very soft textured rock with smooth edges with varying shades of grays, blues, and tans. The contrasting path material is red tippel which is a red lava rock. The texture is a bit more jagged and has a'crunchier' sound to it. We wanted to create two different feelings in the space - the outside (soft, quiet) and the inside (hard, loud).

This 'outside' and 'inside' will be well defined. A wall will is being constructed as you can see in the pictures, to make that definition visible...more to come!

Diggin' and Edgin'

We are very pleased with the progress so far. It took us a bit more time than thought. We thought it would be easy to work with straight lines and corners, however it proved to be a bit more challenging. Exact measurements and precision were both factors in creating the walkways as you can see. Tons of 90 degre anlges that needed to be pretty darn accurate. So far so good!
